PERAN PENDAMPING SOSIAL DALAM PENDIDIKAN MULTIKULTURAL (STUDI KASUS PADA KPM PKH DESA DUKUHKARYA)

Abstract


BSTRACT

Multicultural education in society places everyone in an equal position, no one is higher than the others, education is a way of conveying equality among members of society, so that later a society that is just, prosperous, respects differences can be realized. The method used is the method of observation, interviews, literature study. A qualitative explanation from the data analysis found the importance of the Role of Social Facilitators in the implementation of multicultural education in the “Keluarga Penerima Manfaat” (KPM) Community of the “Program Keluarga Harapan” (PKH). The results showed that multicultural education in the KPM PKH community, Dukuhkarya Village, Rengasdengklok, Karawang. Implemented in an integrated manner through P2K2 activities by Social Facilitators with KPM PKH. Activities are carried out so that KPM PKH can practice multicultural values directly in real life in the family and community environment. KPM PKH tries to understand diversity and how to appreciate that diversity as a concrete manifestation of loving the pluralistic Indonesian nation, understanding differences as a gift from God Almighty which we must be grateful for. Multicultural values can be well internalized by KPM PKH in the family and community to become pious human beings.
